No Fear

Today’s Think On This podcast comes from our conversation at the table about fear.

Fear is rising . . . so . . . we will be in conversation the next two-weeks about spiritual concepts and practical tips to manage and navigate through it.
I can tell you for sure there’s a profound soul-deep difference when our attention is on God rather than the fear coming against us. Fear increases anxiety and stress. This soul-deep awareness produces the ability to release the anxiety and stress of fear.
The thing is . . . our perspective shifts from the darkness of fear to Light’s calm . . . when we intentionally focus on God.
Our two-week Think On This series, Managing Fear, is centered on the spiritual practice of focusing on God’s presence. We also will be releasing a series of articles with ideas of how to navigate through today and the coming days.
LISTEN . . .

Fear is on the rise.  2 Timothy 1:7 is an important word to learn and memorize: God will never give you the spirit of fear.
There are times fear comes at us.
We need to pause and become still to know the presence of God throughout the day.  Paying attention to God takes intention and effort; however, it does make a difference.

For God will never give you the spirit of fear,

but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control

 (2 Timothy 1:7 (TPT)).
