TableThink’s Monday is our day to ramp it up and renew an element of living.  This week our conversation at the table centers on making a new commitment to meditation.

*As a child. . . I climbed out of my bedroom window . . .  in the early hours of the morning.  I sat in stillness and knew God’s presence with the Blue Mountains rising above me.  A lifetime later . . . I have come to understand . . . the importance of putting aside time to know the presence of God.   My best soul-listening time continues to be early in the day.

It’s worth finding the best time to do some soul listening and meditating on the reality of God whether it’s a few minutes or longer.

Because.

There’s a profound soul-deep difference when there’s a daily connection with God.

Meditation is a key element of living our best, which gives us a wise perspective and complete peace through God’s perspective.

Ephesians 3:18 in The Passion Translation says: “Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions.”

Meditation opens up our perspective of the God’s presence of love, which actively impacts who we are and what we do every. single. day.

Perception . . .

“Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!” (Ephesians 3:18-19 The Passion Translation (TPT)).

*TableThink Article, Faith: Vision, connects with this best practice.
