The Presence of God’s Peace

144

Today’s Think On This podcast comes from our conversation at the table about the presence of God’s peace.

Peace is a soul-deep gift. And. It’s a choice to receive the gift of peace.
The thing is . . . we were formed from the very beginning . . . in and through God’s peace.
We can compare our formation to the potter forming clay.

And.
We are transformed through the continual work of peace within us.
In the end, peace is a blessing. The word, blessing may seem religious; however, it’s a message of God’s activity.  Years ago, I wrote this definition: “To be blessed is to know God’s activity. To bless is to be a part of God’s activity.”
So.
We are blessed with God’s activity within our life when we receive peace. And. We bless others when we respond in peace.

May you be blessed with peace and bless others with peace.

LISTEN . . .

THINK ON THIS . . .
The presence or lack of peace gives insight to how life has been managed. Peace produces well-being.
But.
Responding to situations with peace is a rare gift in our world right now. We live in a time when stress causes chaotic reactions. We need an infusion of peace. The weekend-slow-down gives the opportunity to re-attach ourselves to the power of peace. Peace is soul deep.
The thing is . . . peace . . . is not a natural response; it’s a supernatural gift.
Be still.  Know God.  Receive the presence of God’s peace.
