It took me a lifetime to realize seasons in life come and go. I used to think I would find the season that worked best for me and that would be that. (Wouldn’t that be wonderful?)
I’ve learned life is a process of experiencing good as well as hard seasons.
I’ve learned living the best life is not delineated by the season but by the presence and work of God.
The thing is . . . it takes our intention, time, effort, and listening to the Spirit of God to form this soul-deep understanding . . . which leads to experiencing peace in each and every season.
Listen . . .
Think On This . . .
We tend to focus on the what’s in front of us rather than on the big picture. If, we look beyond ourselves it will become clear God always has something more for us. So. It’s good to self-evaluate and ask questions:
- How did I get here?
- Do I belong here?
- What is the point of it all?
The answer to each of the questions often requires surrender and trust. (Neither is easy and often becomes a struggle.)
Consider these words from Ecclesiastes 3:1: “For everything that happens in life—there is a season, a right time for everything under heaven (NLT).”
With-God there’s a bigger picture.
We can be certain there’s always more. God does not miss any detail in our life.
